Chesham Library is launching a new programme of free events for the autumn.
Coffee Mornings at Chesham Library
These are held on the second Wednesday of the month from 11am ? noon. Wednesday 12 September 2012 will feature a talk by local author Jean Hatton, Wednesday 10 October a talk on deaf awareness by a member of the Royal National Institute for the Deaf, Wednesday 14 November will cover Crystals and Gemstones, and on Wednesday 12 December you can enjoy Christmas carols and mince pies.
Online Business Information Drop in Sessions are being held at the Chesham Study Centre, which is upstairs at the library, Elgiva Lane, Chesham HP5 2JD on the fourth Thursday in the month, 26 September and 24 October 2012, from 2 ? 4pm, and Thursday 28 November from 11am ? 1pm. The sessions can help you to start a business, find business and marketing information, find business support agencies, find background information for job interviews, find information to support your coursework, research companies, find office premises and trade legally. Family History Afternoons
Are you interested in researching your family tree? There are regular monthly sessions with support and advice on accessing resources through the library service. Alternatively just go and share experiences of your own research with others. Ity is on the third Wednesday of the month from 2 ? 3.30pm, ie. Wednesday 19 September, 17 October and 21 November 2012.
Puzzle, Quiz and Games Afternoons
Improve your mind with puzzles, quizzes, board games and brain teasers at the library. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and meet others who also want to keep their minds active. These afternoons are held on the fourth Thursday of the month ie. Thursday 2.30 ? 4pm, Thursday 27 September, 25 October, 22 November and Thursday 27 December 2012
