Journal Communications Names Faith E. Perkins HR-VP Journal Communications has appointed Faith E. Perkins, SPHR, as their new Vice President of Human Resources. Perkins will take over in her new capacity on August 27, 2012. She was most recently at Cox Media Group, where she was Regional Vice President Human Resources based in West Palm Beach, Florida. In this role, she was a member of the senior leadership team and set HR strategy to drive a high performance culture for diverse media operations. "We are excited to welcome Faith to our corporate team at Journal," said Steven J. Smith, Chairman and CEO. "She has experience in all types of media including television, radio and newspapers and has proven senior level HR expertise in organizational effectiveness, talent management, benefits, and compensation."
